Your VP for Education Rebecca and VP for Welfare Roisin are delighted to launch are exam preparation campaign, called “Exams? You Got this!”.
Our students are facing a lot of stress coming up to the exam period. It’s a challenging time for a lot of people. With expenses piling up for Christmas, terrible weather and darkness, exams add to the load and can affect your mental health.
From December the 4th to the 14th, your Union will be supporting you as you prepare for exams. We are launching our online campaign, with useful tips to get you through this tough time of year.
We will also be running a roadshow, and visiting campuses on the following dates and times:
|Kevin Street||4th December||12-2pm|
|Aungier Street||5th December||12-2pm|
|Bolton Street||6th December||12-2pm|
|Cathal Brugha Street||12th December||12-2pm|
We will be on your campus at lunchtimes. There will be giving away free fruit, tea and coffee, as well as guidance for exam preparation.
We will also have a short quiz to play – enter our competition and you could win a OneForAll voucher! Make sure to pop up and chat – we all want to check in with you and see how you’re getting on.
Your Education officer says “The end of the semester is always such a stressful time for students. We want them to know that your union is here for you, and our free advice service is open all year. Drop in and chat to an advisor or contact one of the officers. Your union is here for you, so use it!”
Your Welfare officer says “ DITSU is here to help you whether it’s a big problem or a small problem, we always encourage students to talk about it so it won’t get in the way and affect your exams. There are loads of things you can do during the few days leading up to your exams and even on the day that will be really helpful and hopefully help you get through your exams that little bit easier, so pop into us over the month of December / January for some guidance and advice!”
We hope that you come to the campus and chat with the DITSU officers – we want to check in with you and make sure you’re prepped for your exams.
